Mac is the Number One Selling Desktop, Notebook in the U.S.

Tim Cook revealed during the “let’s talk iPhone” event on October 4th that the Mac is the number one selling desktop (iMac) and notebook (MacBook family) in the United States. The Mac has seen 23% growth year-over-year, in contrast to just 4% in growth during that same time for the PC.

“Every single quarter for five years, the Mac has outgrown the PC market,” said Tim Cook, CEO, Apple. “We’re now approaching sixty million users around the world.”
